Exactly.. If we don't participate in this so called national celebration filled with shirk and kufr we will be labelled as the extremists.. And the sad thing is the muslim named students are the one who labell this and they are organizing this as like a jaahil.. 💯💯 so many students are escaping from u cities to home in these onam days to avoid this celebration, bcs if they stayed there withnotparticipating this.. They will be labelled as extremists and comnunalists🫠
Thank you for your eye opening article. The voice of believers must come out against this oppression. the last day, My son was asked to participate and collect money too for it even he is in reputed private training institute in Kerala, but he asked to be away this matter due to his faith in Touheed. they say nothing(Al hamdulillah). but the teacher asked him that do you forced by parent to be absent? he said "no but my own choice"
Here in this country.. apparently celebrating each other's religious festival is secularism. May Allah grant us the freedom to live as a Muslim without any fear.
There is only one God and he continues to give life to people of all 'religions'. They all enjoy long life and health equally and none are 'punished' for their respective beliefs, so that means religion is a farce and there is no harm in observing other beliefs. Stop being blind, see the strengths of other religions and traditions..

Total bollocks. ONAM is a harvest festival AND the occassion has Hindu mythogy interwoven too.
I am a Malayali Christian whose family participates in festivities like the flower arrangement, friends gather to have a sumptious Onasadhya. Some participate in dance etc. It is a time of camaraderie. BUT we do not worship any god. Just celebrate in the tradition of plenty harking back to an era of harvest bounty.
Your extremely narrow interpretation of this festival is patently wrong and is a classic example of how hardlibe ideology is making the Muslim community pariahs where ever they are in a multicultural society. You can be true to your Deen while being a good human being.
